Wicked. That seat looks like if a Vespa and Goldwing mated. Pretty cool stuff.

How did you get a PM? Are they readily available now or something?

Maybe I'm confused about the PM UK and US sites.

No way did that thing just pass me....I'll show'em.....I'll pass 'em back. Maybe later I'll beat up a kindergardener and show them who's boss also.

How did you get a Russell made for the GTS250? I had no idea Russell would do a seat for a scooter. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it? I am going to guess about $650. By the way, I would love to hear a ride report on the Bitubo shocks if you get a second.

I like what you have done to your scoot very much. You put some things on that i want to do to mine and am in the midst of having my rims chromed! The seat i'm not too sure about but i have to say it does look comfy. If you fitted this all by yourself then i would like to hear how you got on and please do tell us about the pm tfi. There has been a few peeps on here who have or are going to get the bitubo shocks and i may be one of them.
Looks very nice and i bet you feel real good about your scoot.

It looks fantastic.

I suppose you need such a comfy seat to accomodate your deep pockets

Your scooter looks great! Have you noticed if the PM pipe now hits the rear crash bar mounts when you go over really big bumps or pot holes? I have heard that can happen with the rear crash bars and the PM pipe.

Whoa, nice!

I'm not sure I like the looks of the seat but it sure looks comfy? Any issues with a pillion?

NICE!!!

Life is all about ASS!!! You're either covering it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, or trying to get a piece of it! Or you have a scooter stuck up in it. Now crack a beer...

Yes I did and it put a small dent in it.......So be sure to stiffen up the rear shocks after you install the Pipe........however, after installing the Bitubos......No problem

None at all, still plenty of room for a 2nd rider.......I had the seat designed to put me back about 3-4 inches from where the rider sits on the stock GTS.......or where you sit on the front seat of the dual seat of the GTV

You inspired me to look into those seats as well and try to order one for my bike. How long did it take? I see that you have to take pics of you and a passenger to send them. Did you have to tell them that you wanted the seating back?

I keep slipping forward on the stock GTV (GT-60) seat, so I may go with your recommendation of pushing it back 3-4 inches. But what other directions did you give them? Does the seat ride on the same base as the stock seat - so it's electronically released as well?

Also...are those lights in your front mudguard? Or are they white round reflectors? I was just curious about them...

Great looking bike...very inspirational...Russell may get another customer because of this pic - you should get a commission... lol

Thanks,
Tim

The seat is built on any stock GTV/GTS SEAT PAN....So YES it still releases and works just like a stock seat..When you call Russell, they will give you directions on submitting pictures and taking measurements so you can have it built according to whatever you want........ask for JJ
Also, those are just reflective stickers on the front mudguard

I took it on a 6 hour round trip to the beach this past weekend and even my Triumph and Harley buddies were begging to swap rides with me......My bums were happy the whole way!....I can say its worth every penny, atleast to me.......I have used Russell seats in the past on a couple of my BMW'S and I really can recommend them..Cheers Zoomin
