At least the forecast is somewhat decent compaired to all the other days. With a 95 drive to the starting point for me that would make it a 440 mile day (round trip) I just might be there.

Hey Curt,

Kelly here from Napa.....Very much thinking about riding this ride. Would you been in to meeting up in the north bay and riding down together? However, after Tam, I think I'll just scoot home to Napa.

Let me know,

I left a post on the NVSC site as well.....

Best,

K

I'm 95% certain I'm going to show up for this, although (as Rich already knows) I have to shame-facedly ride my Moto Guzzi. My GT (which I would much prefer to ride) needs service and is not up to the challenge just now.

I have strategically placed my Moto Guzzi in a parking garage in Cupertino for the night, so I'm going to drive down tomorrow morning, pick it up, and ride over to the meeting spot in San Jo.

Is there a mandatory gas up at the start of the ride, or should we expect to be fully gassed and ready to go? I'm okay either way.

On behalf of Vespa Club Los Gatos, I want to thank Jess for coming down to the South Bay Saturday and joining us for the Three Peaks ride.
Jess, I hope you're feeling okay! Next time bring your scoot.

Mt. Hamilton, Mt. Diablo and Mt. Tam were summited by scoot on a cold, windy and rainy Saturday, April 15th. That was about a 240-250 round trip for most of us. We may reprise this run again in warmer weather.

Come on down for Classico Moto Italia May 5-7. Rides, Sat. BBQ, Show and Shine, Raffle and Gymkhana on Sunday.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Slightly better, thanks. Believe me, I would've rather been riding my GT. The scooters were kicking my ass up and down the one mountain I managed. Alas, the GT is under the weather right now.

I'd definitely be up for revisiting this and proving I'm not a total ninny. Thanks for the ride, guys -- as miserable as the weather was, I think I learned a lot.
