Hey scooter boys (and girls)!

Anyone else think we should start a scooter babe gallery on this forum? Our wives, girlfriends or selves (if you're a scooter girl) on bikes would make a great gallery. I could even see us producing a calendar to sell and benefit a charitable organization. Whadda ya think?

The forum software is not very forgiving of urls with odd characters in it. Not your fault, just picky software.

Brilliant idea!

I've got a few to post, but it will have to wait until Jess provides picture hosting. Till then, keep dreaming...

Take care,

Oh to be that fenderlight.

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said. "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

Aw, that's kinda disappointing now that it is big enough to see clearly. When it was your tiny avatar, my eyes were playing tricks with me with that brown saddle.

Still, a very nice ride! (The scooter's cool, too.)

Ha. That's funny. I actually know that girl on the Vespa. Her name is Lola Ponce, an Argentinian girl living in Italy doing modeling and trying to get a singing career together. I recorded some songs on her last album. She's quite a looker.

I don't know if anyone else has tried this site. I have found quite a few very nice pics here. It has literally hundreds of scooter babes ranging from playmates to celebrities to your average Jo(lene).

That one's wonderful. Here's another classic, photographer Ruth Orkin's 'American Girl in Italy' (top pic in series)-- though the girl's not on the scooter in this one >>

Anyone know who this fella is? He qualifies as a scooter babe just for the cool GT alone. It was taken in Redmond WA I think.

Japanese Scooter Babes
Fri Dec 16, 2005 3:05 am
I saw this link in a maxi scooter Yahoo group. You click on the photo of the woman and then it shows you her customized scooter. Mostly big Japanese scooters but interesting.

Mod Calendar From UK
Fri Dec 16, 2005 3:11 am
Here's a calendar in the UK available on eBay (Item # 8022508559) Modrapheniacs Scooter Club 2006 Charity Calendar. It's the UK eBay but you can write to the seller and I think he has some US eBay auctions or you can buy from the group directly.

I think a lot of us have cheesecake or beefcake photos taken with our beloved scooters but most of them aren't for public consumption!

My "Scooter Babe" Photos

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/escaloni@sbcglobal.net/album

Among this photo album are a few attempts to do cheesecake poses with our Vespas over the recent years. Keep in mind, I'm a middle-aged woman in our private backyard photographed by my husband. PS: They are tasteful, not crude. Enjoy. Fan mail only; no rude comments, please.

you're alright Lisa! Good on ya! That was the spirit of this thread that I had in mind. I love all the pics that have been posted but was really hoping it would become an artistic outlet of sorts for the members. You're pics are my favorite yet! Good photography by the hubby too!

Beautiful pics! You are just a beautiful woman Lisa! My husband and I just got new Vespas (after owning Honda Metropolitans for a bit). We loved our Mets, but are extra-stoked about our new Vespas. He would like to take some tasteful pics of me and my scoot and your pics are inspiring. I am 36 and have two children. It's nice to see someone my age who is not afraid to be sexy with her scoot! Very artsy and cool!

Here is Lori on our baby. I don't know why she isn't grinning ear-to-ear on the Vespa. I know I am when on it! Maybe it's because it's "my" toy!

At the bottom of your post, hit the Choose File button, and it should bring up dialog for you to choose the file from. When you've chosen it, you just have to hit Submit and it should upload the photo. No need for any img tags.

If that's not working, the picture may need to be resized. Maximum size is 150k and 600 width x 800 length.

You can also send the image to me via email and I'll resize it for you if you like.
