This is Hi/Lo HID kit from scootRS.
mine is LX125 and had Ba20d bulb socket.
I've been looking for Hi/Lo HID for 2 years LOL
Some LX with H4 bulb in stock condition can equip HID easily, but mine does not.
==preparation==
got a Hi/Lo HID kit from "scootRS".
got a spare headlight unit of H4 from "motorsportscooters".
got a spare H4 connector.
============
the only "cutting" action you should do is,
headlight connector from LX.
*cut it
*wrap it
*then light it....
note:
purple wire = Hi
brown wire = Lo
black wire = ground

So far I've been riding with this HID for about 8 months.
but I figured out that more improvement is needed to maintain this system.
1. Lighting pattern is no good for left lane country.
*this HID bulb is designed for right laned road. the shape of lighting is look like this...

This pattern kills the driver's eyes on the other lane.
So, I'm planning to make a new visor for the HID bulb.
2. Need a delay relay to start the engine smooth and keep battery healthy.
*apparently, battery performance is started to being worse with this HID system.
*My LX's headlight turns on automatically when the key is ON. According to the Automotive law here, motorcycles must always turn on the headlight while engine running. So, recent made motorcycles in Japan cannot have the headlight switch. Piaggio takes off the headlight switch and mod the headlight turns on when the key is "ON" to match this law.
*HID needs large amount of electricity in ignition period. with this Piaggio's lighting procedure for Japan, It's difficult to have sufficient Volts to ignite the engine with HID ignition period.
Hope to write a successful report later.
