I've got a 2009 500.

It was off over the weekend.

Tried to open the seat by turning the key but it isn't releasing. After I turned the ignition on/off I tried the remote and could not get the seat to release. I can hear something very faint like a servo is firing, but just not releasing.

Has anyone had this happen and know a quick solution? I can know at least get in the trunk, thanks for the pm jimc.

Thanks for any help.

It's possible the seat latch has vibrated away from its fixing. That could eb tricky - but PM sent with the 'normal' solution.

Jim Crowther. Curmudgeon and Grumpy Old Git.
No more PMs please. I tend not to answer them...

JIMC. Could you please also send me this information. It looks like it happens to everyone at least one day.
